We’re looking for an organised, proactive and collaborative Project Co‑ordinator to join our IT Digital Transformation team. You’ll play a key role in helping us deliver business‑critical technology projects that support our long-term strategy and keep Marshalls at the forefront of innovation.

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful execution of projects by providing administrative, logistical, and operational support to project managers and cross-functional teams. This position ensures that project plans are effectively organised, schedules are maintained, resources are coordinated, and communication flows smoothly among all stakeholders.

The Project Coordinator monitors project progress, tracks deliverables, identifies potential risks, and helps resolve issues to keep projects aligned with strategic goals.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Project Delivery
  • Support the planning and coordination of projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Maintain project schedules, documentation and delivery frameworks.
  • Track progress, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies—escalating where required.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, preparing agendas and capturing actions.
Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with stakeholders and business partners to communicate project updates.
  • Share clear project status, risks and outcomes.
Request for Work (RFW) Process
  • Support the intake and assessment of IT work requests across the business.
Resource & Budget Support
  • Coordinate resource allocation across IT and business teams.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoices and resource forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline project delivery and improve the RFW process.
What are the mission‑critical skills?

We’re looking for capability, mindset and potential. You’ll succeed in this role if you can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a project co-ordinator role within an IT setting would be highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles or methodologies (Prince2, Agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong coordination and scheduling abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and resilience in managing change.
  • Effective meeting facilitation and follow‑up skills.
Why join Marshalls?

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment where new ideas are encouraged and development is a priority. You’ll have exposure to a wide variety of projects, the chance to broaden your skills, and the support of an experienced team committed to helping you succeed.

Benefits include:

  • 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Health care cash plan - support with Dental, Optical, Prescription costs and many more!
  • Family leave policies (Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption).
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Employee discount on Marshalls and Marley products.
  • Life assurance.
