Job Summary

FLT Warehouse & Yard Operative in Burton‑On‑Trent, DE14 3HD. 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: £31,473 per annum.

Mission & Responsibilities

Working collaboratively with the team to support stock management and supply of all traded goods across multiple areas of the yard, including our busy sample distribution centre where accuracy and speed of service are essential. Responsibilities include:

  • Picking and dispatching customer orders
  • Maintaining stock control
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all items are distributed correctly, on time and with a clear focus on quality and safety

Mission-Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years FLT driving experience and a Forklift Truck Licence is essential
  • Experience of working in areas where workplace transport health and safety is practised
  • Experience of operating in a manufacturing warehouse / yard environment is desirable
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Good level of English, oral and written
