The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

£31,500 (including shift allowance) plus guaranteed overtime and benefits. Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 off (Mon – Sun), 12 hrs per shift, 05:30 am to 05:30 pm.

We’re currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Production Operative to join our team in Bishopbriggs.

You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties related to the efficient manufacturing of high‑quality roof tiles, using all operational techniques. This includes manual handling tools, powered hand tools, machinery and mechanical handling equipment. You will work in an environment where safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets are the norm. A flexible approach to working requirements is expected to ensure adequate cover to meet production demands, and may require undertaking tasks outside your production area. At times, colleagues may need to travel away from site for training or other requirements. Overtime working will be required and is paid at a competitive rate. Overtime is available to those who are interested.

As a Process Operator you will work closely with production machinery; understanding the fundamental workings of the plant is essential, as well as an aptitude for working with automatic production systems and man‑machine interfaces.

Mission‑Critical Skills

  • Experience operating in a small/medium manufacturing operation
  • FLT counterbalance licence would be preferred but not essential
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Good level of English, oral and written
  • IOSH qualification is desirable
  • A forward‑thinking individual continually looking at improving processes
