Assistant Civil Design Engineer – Remote, Hybrid or Office Based (Dependent Upon Location) – Competitive Salary & Benefits

We have a brand-new opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team as part of our evolution in the UK water and drainage infrastructure industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support our Senior Civil Lead Engineer as an integral member of the Design Engineering team.
  • Provide design and technical support for Marshalls Water Management product ranges, focusing on our structural product line offering bespoke water management products and the Redi-Rock retaining wall system.
  • Help to produce drawings, calculations and provide engineering support to a high standard ensuring compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expert knowledge within the technical engineering environment.
  • Experience working within a civil/structural design and technical environment.
  • Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction related qualification (degree preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software (SCIA experience ideal).
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond to change.
  • Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines.
