We have a brand-new opportunity for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team as part of our evolution in the UK water and drainage infrastructure industry.
Responsibilities
- Support our Senior Civil Lead Engineer as an integral member of the Design Engineering team.
- Provide design and technical support for Marshalls Water Management product ranges, focusing on our structural product line offering bespoke water management products and the Redi-Rock retaining wall system.
- Help to produce drawings, calculations and provide engineering support to a high standard ensuring compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expert knowledge within the technical engineering environment.
- Experience working within a civil/structural design and technical environment.
- Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction related qualification (degree preferred).
- Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software (SCIA experience ideal).
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to change.
- Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines.
