Marshall’s Charity was established in 1631 following the death of John Marshall, a baker in Southwark. The charity is funded through an endowment left in his will and primarily focuses on awarding grants for educational purposes, as well as supporting the restoration of parsonages and Anglican churches. It also acts as Patrons to Christchurch, Southwark.
