Retail Shop Assistant

Retail shop assistant required to join our team.

This is a Monday to Friday position but every Saturday will be required. Again, you must be flexible due to covering Staff Holidays and Sickness.

We are paying up to £12.21 Per Hour.

Based in the Heart of Royal Wootton Bassett.

Main Duties of the Job:

· Serving customers in a timely and efficient manner

· Cash Handling and taking Card Transactions

· Assisting our customers with product needs

· Keeping the Food Counters topped up with our delicious hot and ambient food products

· Keeping the fridges toped up with cold drinks

· Restocking the shelves

· End of day Duties, some of which will be cleaning the food counters at the end of the day, filling in simple paper work (full training on this will be given) Hoovering and mopping down main shop area.

· On occasions answering the phone if you are not serving Customers and taking messages and writing down Customer Orders.

We are a small and successful Team so you must be a team player but be able to work on your own initiative and be able to help where you can.

We would prefer someone with Retail and Cash Handling experience.

Immediate start for the successful Candidate but we can wait if you need to give notice on previous employment.

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (required)
• customer service: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
