Treasury Manager
Our client, a large finance organisation based in the UK, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Treasury Manager on a contract basis. The role can be based remotely but will involve travel to Swindon or London 1 day per week.
The post holder will be required to lead the delivery of risk management and/or operational processes, including reporting, modelling, systems management, and Treasury operations. Responsible monitoring market leading practices and then implementing new approaches that keep our client aligned to these standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring our client continues to use fit-for-purpose approaches for risk management and/or operational processes, making sure that local policies and procedures remain consistent with regulatory requirements and Society-level policy
- Be responsible for ensuring that their team operates a robust control environment with the appropriate infrastructure to enable accurate, complete and timely delivery
- Be responsible for the implementation of new methodologies within Treasury systems, ensuring that business change is managed effectively
- Provide papers on technical subjects that can be easily understood by non-subject matter experts for review at various fora and be able to present the paper at those same management bodies.
Required skills/experience:
- At least 5 years Treasury or relevant technical experience
- Hold a professional Treasury or Accounting qualification (AMCT/CFA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent strongly demonstrated experience
- Experience leading and managing a team Working Relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders at a Board level and can stand in for line manager at SLT/Committee level
