Marshall Wolfe hiring consultancy are supporting our client within the technology sector, who are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to support the development and testing of next-generation connectivity products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation test scripts.
- Maintain and enhance CPE platform test environments.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support Agile delivery squads and quality assurance activities.
- Use JIRA, Scrum and Wiki tools to track project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Python experience.
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, virtual machines and containerisation.
- Experience with CPE platform test environments.
- Knowledge of Git, GitLab, JIRA and CI/CD tools.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience
- Broadband and networking technologies including xDSL, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6, Wi-Fi, PPP and UPnP.
- 4G/5G mobile networks.
- RF fundamentals and wireless networking concepts.
Duration: 6 months | Contract: Inside IR35 | Based: Ipswich (on-site)
