Marshall Wolfe are looking to recruit the services of an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our development team on a contract basis (outside of IR35). The post holder will be required to build software using predominantly Java technologies. Working on a greenfield development project, you will be required to assist in the development of an application from scratch, configure existing systems and provide support. You will work with internal team members but also be required to take the initiative and design, develop and maintain software with minimal supervision.
As a React Developer, your main focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows. Our ideal candidate will have:
- An in-depth understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with mobile platforms
- Experience with data structure libraries
Responsibilities include:
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer using React
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
