Service Desk Analyst
Location: Ipswich (Office-Based)
Marshall Wolfe hiring consultancy are hiring for an IT Service Desk Analyst for our client based in Ipswich, where you will provide first-line technical support to users across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their IT career while gaining exposure to Microsoft technologies, cyber security initiatives, networking, and a broad range of business systems.
You'll be the first point of contact for IT support requests, helping colleagues resolve technical issues and ensuring a high level of customer service. You'll support a variety of technologies, assist with user onboarding, configure devices, troubleshoot technical problems, and contribute to continuous service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support for incidents and service requests.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications.
- Set up user accounts and support employee onboarding activities.
- Configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.
- Assist with cyber security initiatives and promote secure working practices.
- Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of issues.
