We are Wiser, a global, award-winning Employer Brand agency. We build employer brands to guide the best in the biz into their dream career with our clients. We’re a home for people who think big and expect more. We transform a company’s employer brand internally and externally and change cultures from the ground up. With creative, strategic and early talent experts in-house, our clients have a single partnership with Wiser and we deliver end to end campaigns helping them to attract and retain the best talent globally.

We believe that people will do their best work when they're in a space that enables it. And that's what we've shaped at Wiser - a culture where everyone can be real and back themselves, surrounded by high performers who take ownership of their career and make moves, no matter what their background.

What's this role all about?

Our Account Directors will lead the charge across our biggest pieces of client business; working with brilliant creative minds across all departments to deliver the highest quality work and embedding our partnership model. Alongside a few weeks of learning about all things Wiser, you will be assigned your own clients, which you will lead from end-to-end with support from the project management team. Existing client leads will spend time with you to get under the skin of the accounts, and your team lead will be on standby to support across the board. You will be the main point of contact for your senior clients, and your Project Manager will work with you on all things day-to-day.

You will take full ownership of those client accounts, building a rhythm to support our partnership and upsell new service lines as we build them. This will involve everything from regular monthly meets; quarterly steers and biannual creative workshops. You’re in the driving seat, ensuring inspirational creative briefs and agreeing clear scopes of work. Our team of Account Leads & Account Directors will grow our business, optimising the magic Wiser can bring.

It will be your responsibility to gather this information from our wonderful clients, listen to their needs and ensure that’s seen through. You’ll also have half an eye on opportunities to bring in other Wiser teams, from marketing to partnerships and early talent. Overall you’ll connect all the dots to ensure a fully rounded service for all of our clients, consistently managing their expectations and requirements along the way.

What will you spend your time doing?

  • Are a do-er and a leader. You rally the team and set clear expectations, but are not afraid to get your hands dirty. Even when you don’t have all the answers, you know how to connect and direct the team to access them. Ultimately, you lead by example and oversee perfect execution on time, every time.
  • Love the detail, but also have a vision. You are as responsible as your Project Manager for making sure decks look beautiful and don’t have typos; as well as for thinking days, weeks, months ahead. You always stay positive and keep moral high, at the same time as foreseeing and mitigating problems.
  • Are comfortable on the front line. Relationship building is the biggest part of your job, internally and externally. You’ll be acting as the face of Wiser for all of the clients you look after, and as a result you need to be confident working with all types of people.
  • Are commercially savvy. You are results and performance focused, ensuring our projects are profitable by agreeing clear scopes of work at the outset. Clients love your clarity, and the finance team love your management. You always have an eye out for the next opportunity and raise the ambitions of our clients.
  • Are people focused, and creatively passionate. Above all else, you believe in Wiser values, and instil this in the work you lead our team to deliver for our clients. You raise the bar through your confidence in protecting creative ideas, and creating opportunities for new ones to flourish, all in the name of changing the way people think about work.

What are we looking for?

  • 3-5 years in a client-facing Account Management role. You don’t need to have previously worked in Employer Branding, but it’d be a lovely bonus if you did.
  • Brilliant spoken & written communication skills. We talk a lot and we write even more emails so it will be helpful if you’re a natural communicator. Emojis welcome.
  • Experience crafting and delivering a creative product for clients - from brief and strategy to creative development, production & delivery. Creative agency background is a big plus.

What's in it for you?

  • A Happiness team whose role is to make Wiser the best place to work possible. Whether it’s keeping the office stocked up with snacks, sending you a care package when you’re poorly, or planning the next Wiser party, they make the office a much happier place.
  • A culture calendar full of options - from black tie to sports day, book club or run club, there’s something for everyone.
  • We’re pretty proud of the space we have here - from phone booths to walking pads, all the way to a rainforest for focus-time… whatever vibe you need, you can find it here.
  • The W breakfast - our Happiness team makes sure everyone starts the day right with a hotel-worthy breakfast spread. Fancy coffee tap and unlimited fizzies on offer too.
  • On top of your holiday allowance, the office also closes for up to 2 weeks over the festive period so we can all recharge before coming back in the new year.
  • Wiser Bank Holiday - a beloved Purple People tradition. Each Autumn we take an extra day off to celebrate Wiser’s birthday. Cake and candles at the ready…
  • Moving House Day - one of life’s most stressful events made easier by an extra day off.
  • Work from Anywhere allowance - everyone has a number of days to work from home or wherever they fancy. Whether it’s staying home on to snuggle your cat or working from Greece for a week in the summer, WFA is the answer.
  • Therapy - with 5 therapists to choose from, each year you can get up to x3 therapy sessions subsidised through Wiser to take either here in our own secret Log Cabin, externally or online (you pay 20 a session and we cover the rest).
  • Vitality Health Insurance - full coverage once you’ve passed probation. From necessities like the dentist, doctors and opticians, to mega rewards like Champneys, gym and travel discounts, it’s a winner.
  • Gymbox - once passing probation, you can access our exclusive Wiser x Gymbox partnership where you can bag your Gymbox membership for less than half price.

At Wiser, we’re committed to fostering a culture where everyone feels empowered to be themselves and inspired to excel. We know that true creativity and innovation thrive when diversity is celebrated and everyone is given equal access to opportunities. That’s why we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, ability, or socioeconomic status.

We believe that everyone should feel comfortable and be able to back themselves in an inclusive environment where individuality is celebrated. We’re building a team as diverse as the brands we work with, and our aim is to change the way people think about work.

If you’re passionate about making meaningful moves in an environment that’s as inclusive as it is high-performing, we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to Wiser. Feel free to reach out to our Talent Team if you need any adjustments to make our hiring process more accessible.
