We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Capital Intern to join our team for a 12-month placement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across two key areas of Human Capital: HC Administration and Talent Acquisition.

For the first six months, you will focus on Talent Acquisition, helping to attract, assess and hire top industry talent. For the following six months, you will work within the Human Capital team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the HC department and assisting with employee lifecycle activities. This internship is designed to give you a well-rounded understanding of the HC function in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your responsibilities

  • HC Administration:
    • Assist with maintaining employee records and HC databases.
    • Support the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including updating internal trackers and preparing relevant documentation.
    • Assist with the management of trackers, including internal mobility, maternity and paternity leave.
    • Supporting with HC queries, benefits, leave and absence management with guidance from the HC Manager.
    • Help coordinate internal communications, HC reports, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Provide general administrative support to the HC team.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening CVs, and scheduling/conducting interviews.
    • Maintain recruitment tracking systems and assist with candidate correspondence.
    • Contribute to employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives.

  • Currently enrolled in a sandwich year programme at a top institution with a keen interest in exploring HC.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an interest in HR systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
