During an exciting time of expansion, we have a new vacancy for a Toolmaker to join our team based at our Castleham site to provide tool making, repair and maintenance services as needed to meet the requirements of the company's manufacturing operations. This is a full‑time permanent role working 40 hours per week in a rotational shift pattern covering the hours of 6am–2pm, 8am–4pm and 2pm–10pm.

Main duties

  • Provide tool‑making, repair, and maintenance services as requested to meet the needs of the company's manufacturing operation.
  • Produce finished product and work tasks to a pre‑determined specification and tolerance.
  • Deliver a high level of accuracy in both manual and clerical demands, especially with the application and transfer of technical specification data from drawings.

Requirements

  • Relevant mechanical and production engineering qualification.
  • Experience working within a busy tool shop operating to tight, well‑defined deadlines.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and work with technical drawings.
  • Ability to produce finished product to the correct specification within deadline.
  • Flexible approach to work, supporting your team to deliver overall objectives.
  • Demonstrable ability to work within safe working practices.
