The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This role will give you the chance to play a key part in high-profile defence projects. You will be part of an industry-leading team, working with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and Primes.
Responsibilities
- Carry out paint tasks on aircraft/components in accordance with approved documentation.
- Comply with HSE and airworthiness regulations and requirements.
- Work in accordance with company procedures to ensure compliance with requirements associated with the role, e.g., tool control, document control, system updates and certification.
- Booking and accounting for time.
- Working to and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Various coating removal techniques, chemical/mechanical.
- Various coating application methods, atomised and non-atomised.
- Mix paints in accordance with paint manufacturers' technical data.
- Work in accordance with company procedures, housekeeping and good working practices.
- Working overtime when required.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Line Managers.
Technical Competencies
- Detail oriented.
- Able to work well in a team or individually.
- High levels of integrity.
- A working knowledge of Health and Safety, Fire and Environmental regulations.
- Work at height and in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working with aircraft technical data, maintenance manuals.
- Computer literate.
- Suitable aviation experience of Paint Spraying.
Education
- NVQ Level 2/3 in paint spraying or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
- Paint manufacturers or OEM recognised training.
