The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

This role will give you the chance to play a key part in high-profile defence projects. You will be part of an industry-leading team, working with Marshall and other major defence stakeholders and Primes.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out paint tasks on aircraft/components in accordance with approved documentation.
  • Comply with HSE and airworthiness regulations and requirements.
  • Work in accordance with company procedures to ensure compliance with requirements associated with the role, e.g., tool control, document control, system updates and certification.
  • Booking and accounting for time.
  • Working to and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Various coating removal techniques, chemical/mechanical.
  • Various coating application methods, atomised and non-atomised.
  • Mix paints in accordance with paint manufacturers' technical data.
  • Work in accordance with company procedures, housekeeping and good working practices.
  • Working overtime when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisors or Line Managers.

Technical Competencies

  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to work well in a team or individually.
  • High levels of integrity.
  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety, Fire and Environmental regulations.
  • Work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working with aircraft technical data, maintenance manuals.
  • Computer literate.
  • Suitable aviation experience of Paint Spraying.

Education

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in paint spraying or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Paint manufacturers or OEM recognised training.
