The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

As part of our team you will ensure that all services are provided in conformance with CAA Regulatory Standards and local Cambridge City Airport instructions including CAP documents, MATS Part 2, the Cambridge City Airport Safety Management System, and other relevant documentation. You will help to ensure the initial and on-going safety of ATC Operations, whilst operating at all times within the limitations of your ATC licence and in accordance with our Just Culture Policy. Our controllers operate Monday to Friday, the current opening hours are 0800-1800 with a mixture of shifts applied to facilitate this.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that ATC services are provided in conformance with regulatory standards and local airport instructions.
  • Maintain safety of ATC Operations within the limitations of the ATC licence and in line with the Just Culture Policy.
  • Operate within opening hours and shift patterns to support service delivery.

Qualifications

  • You must hold a valid UK Air Traffic Controller's license issued by the CAA, with an ADI rating and either APS or APP rating. These ratings must be validated and maintained at Cambridge as part of your continued employment.
  • UK Class 3 medical certificate
  • ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Desirable: Additional third rating (APS/APP)
  • Met Observers Qualification
  • To have validated ATCO Class G UK Airspace experience
  • Additional endorsements e.g. OJTI/Assessor
  • Investigations experience
