We are currently seeking a Senior Indirect Buyer to join our team at Marshall. In this role, you will enable indirect purchasing activities across the organisation, acting as the central point of contact for all ERP‑based indirect procurement commercial activities. You will work closely with a wide range of suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and value‑driven procurement operations.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Global Category Manager in delivering effective indirect procurement operations and governance
- Act as the primary contact for ERP‑based commercial activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes
- Lead supplier onboarding, vendor setup, and maintenance to ensure accurate and compliant ERP master data
- Create and manage purchase orders, monitor progress, and resolve transactional issues across the P2P lifecycle
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, ERP processes, and best practices
- Ensure timely and accurate goods receipt, service entry, and invoice matching, supporting stakeholders and suppliers with queries
- Oversee supplier performance, contract lifecycle management, and relationship development
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Facilities, Operations, and Projects to ensure procurement meets business needs
- Maintain accurate data, reporting, and analysis in partnership with procurement or supply chain analysts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, ERP utilisation, and data accuracy
- Manage day‑to‑day indirect purchasing requirements, ensuring compliance with governance standards
- Maintain accurate supplier and contract records to support effective vendor management
- Identify and address process or data risks, working cross‑functionally to implement corrective actions
- Deliver targeted training on ERP and P2P processes to ensure consistent understanding and adherence to controls
- Lead proactive supplier communications, ensuring clarity on performance expectations and contractual obligations
Qualifications

Additional Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
- CIPS qualification (or equivalent) desirable; candidates working towards CIPS are encouraged to apply
- Hands‑on experience using ERP systems (IFS preferable)
- Demonstrated experience working with indirect procurement or purchasing activities
- Exposure to purchasing, P2P, or transactional procurement processes
