We now have an opportunity for an Assistant Commercial Manager to ensure Marshall trades in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all applicable legal, regulatory and policy requirements and in a way that minimises contractual and business risk and maximises opportunities for generating and enhancing cashflow and profit.
The Assistant Commercial Manager will have the expertise and experience to negotiate suitable commercial contract offers and agree contract terms with other Commercial support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing feedback on Commercial policies and guidance
- Supporting the maintenance of an efficient Commercial compliance environment that addresses adequately the obligations placed upon Marshall while enabling the company to achieve its targeted results
- Providing effective Commercial SME support and advice
- Sharing information with and advising colleagues on appropriate solutions and approaches to business opportunities, challenges and issues
- Supporting efforts to ensure that business systems and processes are developed and maintained to include compliance with legal and contractual requirements
- Being alert to threats to specific Marshall activity to help identify, understand, communicate and mitigate Commercial compliance risks
- Understanding the need to align contractual terms up and down the contract support structure, including supporting engagement with key suppliers and the customer to support the path of lowest risk to Marshall in the final contract agreements
