Exciting ATCO opportunity at Cambridge City Airport. We are currently seeking a qualified Air Traffic Controller to join our small and highly motivated team at Cambridge City Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in providing Tower, Radar and Approach services - integrating a variety of military and civilian aircraft arriving, departing and overflying Cambridge in Class G Airspace.
The Role
As part of our team you will ensure that all services are provided in conformance with CAA Regulatory Standards and local Cambridge City Airport instructions including CAP documents, MATS Part 2, the Cambridge City Airport Safety Management System, and other relevant documentation. You will help to ensure the initial and on-going safety of ATC Operations, whilst operating at all times within the limitations of your ATC licence and in accordance with our Just Culture Policy. In return you will be provided with opportunities to develop your skills, qualifications and experience, helping to progress your career for your future growth within the industry. Our controllers operate Monday to Friday, the current opening hours are 0800‑1800 with a mixture of shifts applied to facilitate this.
Qualifications
- You must hold a valid UK Air Traffic Controller's license issued by the CAA, with an ADI rating and either APS or APP rating. These ratings must be validated and maintained at Cambridge as part of your continued employment.
- UK Class 3 medical certificate
- ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency
- Right to work in the UK

- Additional third rating (APS/APP)
- Met Observers Qualification
- To have validated ATCO Class G UK Airspace experience
- Additional endorsements eg: OJTI/Assessor Investigations experience
