Responsibilities
- Providing NDT support within the Marshall organisation.
- Inspections on a wide variety of aircraft, components and structures to national and international standards.
- Completing all task‑related paperwork to maintain accurate records.
- Providing NDT support to third‑party customers worldwide.
- Producing inspection techniques for approval by Level 3.
- Working confidently unsupervised and as a team member with a flexible workload.
- Delivering critical customer outcomes and collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Essential: EN4179 Level 2 in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic.
- Desirable: EN4179 Level 2 in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Radiographic (Wet Film) & Bond Testing, and Ultrasonic Phased Array.
- Experience in an MRO environment.
- Experience in Aerospace Engineering.
- Working knowledge of aircraft construction.
Required Certifications and Working Conditions
- Qualify for any Level 2 methods not held at appointment.
- Register as a ‘Classified Radiation Worker’ (IAW IRR 17).
- Qualify as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS).
- Hold a current UK passport.
- Hold a current UK driving licence.
- Will work at height and in confined spaces.
- Occasional evening work and rare night shift coverage for radiographic inspections.
