Responsibilities
- Maximise efficiency and utilisation of available plant hours, incorporating planned maintenance cycles.
- Lead material demand planning and stock control activities.
- Own and develop capacity planning capabilities across the organisation.
- Ensure full integration of capacity planning within ERP/MRP systems.
- Drive capacity planning activities to meet operational requirements while optimising manufacturing efficiency and cost.
- Continuously refine systems and planning methods to better anticipate customer needs and support tender and PCAF stages.
- Manage and mitigate deviations from plan, particularly those with financial impact.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and data to identify capacity constraints, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or Business (preferred) or equivalent qualifications such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present reports and insights clearly.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- A self‑motivated approach, with the ability to deliver accurate work to tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
