Role Description

This full-time, on-site Sales Executive role is based in the Greater Lincoln Area, United Kingdom.

The Sales Executive is responsible for welcoming and engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable vehicles and services in a clear, professional manner.

Daily activities include managing customer enquiries, arranging test drives, preparing and explaining quotations and finance options, and guiding customers through the entire sales process from first contact to handover.

The role involves maintaining accurate records in dealership systems, following up with prospects and existing customers, and working closely with colleagues and manufacturer partners to meet individual and team sales targets.

The Sales Executive is also expected to uphold Marshall Motor Group’s standards of customer service, compliance, and brand presentation at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales skills in a customer-facing environment, ideally within automotive retail or a related sector.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, including confident verbal communication and clear, accurate documentation.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple enquiries, test drives, and follow-ups efficiently.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative and responsibility for personal sales performance.
