The Role: We are seeking an experienced Car Sales Manager to join Marshall Motor Group and lead our sales team at our Volkswagen store based in Coulsdon. This role will see you use your sales management experience to lead the team in delivering good outcomes for our customers. Reporting to the Head of Business, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading automotive group whilst representing an amazing brand. You will oversee a team of Sales Executives, Transaction Managers and a Used Car Sales Manager, who oversee both New and Used Vehicle Sales.
We are looking for someone who shares a passion for our luxury brand and who is determined to push the team and Business to the next level. Must have previous experience in budgeting and forecasts.

What do I do?
- Manage the Sales Executives and Transaction Manager.
- Motivate the team to deliver good outcomes for customers as well as achieving weekly sales targets on vehicles, finance and insurance products.
- Liaise with customers, both face-to-face and by phone/email, dealing with customer complaints in an efficient and effective manner.
- Work to promote vehicles and services on offer in the dealership and online.
- Ensure excellent customer service that results in good customer outcomes is consistently recognised in high customer satisfaction index scores.
- Collate finance proposals for customers that are in the best interests of the customer.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience as a sales manager within the automotive industry with main dealership experience. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following:
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve both quality & quantity goals.
- A calm and professional manner.
