The Role:
- Looking after one of the company's larger freight accounts - mainly imports
- End to end operations
- Forming strong relationships with suppliers - hauliers, shipping lines, overseas agents
- Processing customs clearances
- Identifying other areas of potential business
- Finding more cost effective solutions for customers and identifying areas of improvement
The ideal candidate:
- Self motivated and eager to develop a successful career within freight forwarding
- Driven and able to problem solve under pressure
- Knowledgeable in shipping operations (import or export)
