Our client, a major global Private Equity platform across multiple strategies, is seeking an experienced Manager to join their Private Capital Evergreen Product team.
The team is responsible for:
- Product Strategy: Shaping the global strategy for the firm's evergreen products, which are designed to provide eligible private wealth and individual investors with structured access to private markets.
- Fundraising Support: Working closely with distribution and fundraising teams to support the placement and growth of these products.
- Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of evergreen products, from product design and positioning to ongoing management.
- Strategic Direction: Providing the necessary leadership to align product offerings with the broader needs of the private wealth market while ensuring consistency with the firm's overall investment strategies.
The team is growing, in line with the growing Private Wealth and Retail strategies of the firm. Therefore, the role of Team Manager has been newly created to support continued growth.
- Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the team day-to-day, including setting strategy and direction and driving a culture of collaboration
- Driving process improvement and standardisation, ensuring future scalability
- Provide consistent and easily digestible narratives across distribution channels
- Lead this team's contribution to investor diligence, complex or product-related RFI responses
- Continuous liaison with colleagues and senior management across Fund Strategy and Coverage.
It is imperative that this individual has the gravitas to lead this small but growing team, which will include significant Private Market experience, fundraising and investor and distributor management expertise.
It is highly desirable to have strong knowledge of evergreen and semi-liquid structures and their distribution cycles.
The individual will offer a huge amount of scope to help develop and grow the firm's evergreen offerings with high visibility across the firm given the strategic importance of this growth area.
Mandatory
- Degree or Masters in a Finance related discipline
- Experience of fund raising, investor onboard and preferable with Private Wealth channels
- Experience of supervising juniors or allocating workflows
- Experience in Private Equity with specific focus on evergreen and semi-liquid structures
