As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality standards within the fastener industry. You will be the go-to Quality Inspector, signing off parts before they head out the door and taking pride in knowing things have been done properly.

This company was established to do things differently, with quality and service at the heart of everything. They have built a strong team and are now in stunning new premises, looking for someone experienced in quality inspection to lead from the front.

You will report into management and take full ownership of inspection, with no one looking over your shoulder. They trust and support you, knowing that you have high standards. The company recently achieved the highest result possible during their API certification, highlighting the importance of quality.

If you are a Quality Inspector with experience in fasteners or machined components, or from an engineering/production background and hands-on with measuring equipment, you will know what you’re doing. Here’s what to expect:

  • First-off, last-off inspection
  • Working with thread gauges, micrometers, and calipers
  • Creating dimensional reports
  • PMI and hardness testing
  • Using a profile projector
  • Reading drawings
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers when needed

You are detail obsessed, methodical, and not afraid to ask questions if something doesn’t feel right. You are ready to step up and take more responsibility, leading two junior inspectors and developing others while maintaining high standards.

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm
Holidays: 30 days including bank holidays
Starting salary: £30,000 to £32,000
