Deputy Manager Quality Assurance

Anyone can find a quality issue.

You want to know why it happened.

That's what makes a good Deputy Manager Quality Assurance.

You don't just raise non-conformances.

You get onto the shop floor, ask the awkward questions and work with production to make sure the same problem doesn't happen twice.

If that's how you approach quality, keep reading.

As Deputy Manager Quality Assurance, you'll be supporting the Quality Manager in a business that manufactures high-integrity fasteners and CNC machined components used in industries where there is no room for error.

You'll be involved in everything from internal and customer audits through to investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk.

You'll be out in the factory, working with engineering, production and inspection, helping raise standards across the business.

You'll probably recognise yourself here.

  • You enjoy solving problems, not just documenting them. * You're comfortable leading or supporting audits. * Root cause analysis comes naturally to you. * You know how to challenge people in the right way without creating conflict. * You care about getting things right first time.

Experience with API 20E, API 20F or fastener manufacturing would be a real advantage.

But don't write yourself off if you haven't got it.

If you're a qualified Lead Auditor with a strong quality background in precision engineering or manufacturing, we'd still like to hear from you.

Quality systems can be learnt.

The right attitude can't.

What's in it for you?

  • £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. * Early finish every Friday. * 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. * The opportunity to develop alongside an experienced Quality Manager. * A stable engineering business where quality genuinely drives the business, not just ticks compliance boxes.

If you're looking for a Deputy Manager Quality Assurance role where you'll have the chance to influence, improve and make a genuine difference every day, let's have a conversation.
