As Marketing Executive, you'll be at the centre of the communication side of the marketing function. You'll also be one of the creative voices within the team. Someone who can look at a campaign and instinctively know whether it feels right. Whether the message works. Whether the audience is right. Whether the content is actually engaging. The person helping turn ideas into campaigns. Strategy into action. And marketing activity into something customers engage with.
From social media and communications through to events, branding and content... you'll be involved in making sure the right message reaches the right audience. An internal promotion has opened up the path for a Marketing Executive to join, which says a lot about how the business approaches development and progression.
A big part of your time as Marketing Executive will be spent creating content. Writing blogs. Managing social media. Supporting communications across the business. Creating copy that customers want to read. Because you're somebody who naturally looks at marketing through the eyes of the customer. You don't just write content because it's on the marketing plan. You think about who's reading it. Why they're reading it and what action you want them to take afterwards.
You'll also work closely with the Graphic Designer... Not because you're expected to create every graphic, but because creativity comes naturally to you. You'll be a Marketing Executive who can look at a campaign and know when something isn't quite landing. You'll know whether it's:
- the message.
- the audience.
- the channel.
- the way it's being presented.
Events are another important part of the role. There are around 15 events each year and you'll work alongside the Marketing Manager to support them. Looking at an exhibition stand, marketing materials and the overall customer experience and spotting what's missing... What could be improved. What would make people stop and engage. Because marketing isn't just about getting something out there...It's about making sure it's saying the right thing to the right audience.
Based in Kingswinford, you'll be part of a collaborative marketing team where creativity, ideas and development are encouraged. In return, your salary will be between £32,000 and £35,000 plus additional benefits, including a profit-share scheme.
