Heavy Plant Vehicle Engineer   £37,000 to £40,000 | Monday to Friday | Days | One Site   How much of your working week do you spend driving between jobs? And how much nicer would it be if you didn't have to? Imagine turning up to the same place every morning, knowing where you're working, having your own workshop team around you and finishing at a sensible time.   No travelling between customers. No mobile callouts. Just a proper engineering job on one site.   As Plant Vehicle Engineer, you'll be looking after forklifts and heavy plant on a large manufacturing site.   You'll still have the variety you enjoy. Fixing breakdowns, servicing equipment and working out what's gone wrong when something stops working. The difference?   You're not spending half your day getting from one job to the next. You'll have your own work to get on with, a supervisor there when you need them and a team of engineers around you.   And you're trusted to know what you're doing.   As Plant Vehicle Engineer, you'll already have experience fixing and maintaining forklifts or heavy plant. You'll be comfortable getting your hands dirty, finding faults and getting equipment back up and running safely.   Diesel, LPG, electric, hydraulics. It's the sort of work you know.   So, what's in it for you? £37,000 to £40,000 a year Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm Friday, 8am to 4pm Permanent days, no shift rotation One site, no travelling between customers On-site parking A permanent job with an established maintenance team There may be occasional overtime or out-of-hours support, but your normal working week is Monday to Friday.   You might currently be a Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mobile Service Engineer.   You might not even be looking for another job.   But if you're reading this between customer visits, wondering what time you'll actually get home tonight, perhaps it's worth having a conversation.   Because you can still do the engineering you enjoy, without spending your working week on the road.   As Plant Vehicle Engineer, that's exactly what you're getting here.
