As Electrical Service Manager, you already understand the technical side. You've built your career around engineering, fault finding and solving problems. Supporting engineers. And ensuring the service department continues to deliver the level of service customers have come to expect. You know as Electrical Service Manager that delivering great service is about more than fixing problems when they happen. It's about planning ahead, supporting your team and making sure customers know they're in safe hands. You'll be looking at engineer utilisation, customer commitments, service performance and departmental priorities to ensure the service department runs efficiently and continues to improve. As Electrical Service Manager, you see the bigger picture. Because service isn't just about getting equipment back up and running. It's about communication. You also know that health and safety, compliance and engineering standards are essential. As Electrical Service Manager, you'll be leading a team of Service Engineers. There are some strong people already in place, but this is still a relatively fresh team that's developing. What they need is a Electrical Service Manager who can bring everything together. Coaching, mentoring and sharing your experience. Helping engineers grow in confidence and capability whilst creating an environment where they can focus on delivering a great service to customers. You might already be a Electrical Service Manager or perhaps you're leading within a service-led engineering environment and looking for more autonomy. Your engineering background will be important, with a strong electrical bias likely to be key. You're comfortable fault finding, interpreting wiring diagrams and working from electrical schematics. You understand how electrical and mechanical systems work together. Whilst you'll still use your technical knowledge, this Technical Services Manager position is as much about leadership as it is engineering. Supporting the team. Keeping the service department moving forward. You'll be at the centre of the operation, working closely with engineers, customers, operations and the wider engineering team. This Electrical Service Manager position isn't about keeping things ticking over. It's about taking a good service operation and making it even better. You'll help shape how the department develops, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the high standards customers have come to expect continue into the future. In return, you'll receive £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, along with a company car or car allowance and company pension. You'll also benefit from ongoing technical and professional development, exposure to specialist engineering equipment and international customers, and the opportunity to take on a varied leadership role where no two weeks look quite the same. Most importantly, you'll have the chance to influence and develop the Technical Services function, helping shape how the department continues to evolve and improve. You'll be joining a supportive engineering environment where teamwork, quality and customer service matter. If you're a Electrical Service Manager who enjoys developing engineers, improving service and being part of a technically challenging environment, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
