We now have an opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join us at our site in Cambridge.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional level of customer service.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Take a proactive approach to the daily stores operation.
- Maintain and report local store stock levels and monitor vending activities.
- Ensure a safe working environment in line with the company Health & Safety procedures.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities within the warehouse environment and suggest improvements.
- Assist with audits (internal or external) and ensure procedures are followed in line with company requirements.
- Lead, follow up and resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure security of the warehouse environment and maintain access control.
- Be a positive team member and contribute to company targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling and managing stock within a stores environment.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks based on larger goals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift qualification – desirable.
- Certified in Dangerous Goods handling and Aviation security – desirable.
- Good numeracy skills and computer literacy.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to establish logical practical solutions.
