Right now, we need to strengthen our R&D team in Milton Keynes with a Senior Electronics Design Engineer who will focus on driving audio innovation and enhancing product performance.
What you’ll do:
- You will take a central role in development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle of our guitar amplifiers and related products.
- You will play a hands‑on role in electronic design through proof of concept work, schematic capture, PCB design, as well as testing, verification, and problem solving.
- Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with a product team and others across the business to see products into mass production.
Roles & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Take a leading role in the electronics design team, guiding projects from concept to completion.
- Take a key role in product development projects, from prototyping to production.
- Drive the design process through prototyping, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, and validation.
- Ensure designs are optimised for testing, manufacturability, and serviceability at every stage.
- Communicate clearly and effectively to report on issues, solutions, and project progress.
- Provide support for investigating and implementing engineering changes as needed.
- Continuously seek improvements in design processes, technical solutions, and sustainability.
- Foster team development by sharing knowledge and supporting the growth of team members.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- 5+ years of experience in electronics product design with a strong focus on audio electronics.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
- Mixed signal and or multi‑layer, high speed PCB design.
- Proficiency in both analogue and digital circuit design.
- Experience with embedded systems including both hardware and firmware development.
- Experience in testing, fault finding, and verification/validation of requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to documentation.
