Responsibilities
- Finalising the monthly management accounts and submitting to Group in line with the reporting timetable
- Uploading data re finance and production hours
- Monthly updating and submission of order intake data
- Preparation of monthly narrative to support accounts submission describing P&L performance, cash movements, order intake, overhead variances and working capital movements
- Preparation and distribution of Management Accounts pack to Senior Leadership teams
- Oversee preparation and distribution of Sales and Expense Trackers
- Undertaking variance analysis to understand the nature of major over/under spends against budget and/or forecast
- Co-ordinate weekly cash flow reporting and provide narrative on movements from previous forecast
- Assist with business planning and reporting including specifically IBP (Integrated Business Planning), quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and five-year planning cycles
- Reconciliation and reporting relating to the weekly cash forecasting and reporting to Group
- Monthly VAT returns
- Annual insurance returns to Group
- Liaison with Internal and External auditors
- Assist in the implementation of the new ERP system
- Assist the Financial Controller and Head of Finance on ad hoc project work
Qualifications
- Good standard of education
- Professional accounting qualification
- Significant experience within a similar role
- Ability to work well under pressure and to timescales
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent IT skills
- Management experience
