Responsibilities

  • Finalising the monthly management accounts and submitting to Group in line with the reporting timetable
  • Uploading data re finance and production hours
  • Monthly updating and submission of order intake data
  • Preparation of monthly narrative to support accounts submission describing P&L performance, cash movements, order intake, overhead variances and working capital movements
  • Preparation and distribution of Management Accounts pack to Senior Leadership teams
  • Oversee preparation and distribution of Sales and Expense Trackers
  • Undertaking variance analysis to understand the nature of major over/under spends against budget and/or forecast
  • Co-ordinate weekly cash flow reporting and provide narrative on movements from previous forecast
  • Assist with business planning and reporting including specifically IBP (Integrated Business Planning), quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and five-year planning cycles
  • Reconciliation and reporting relating to the weekly cash forecasting and reporting to Group
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Annual insurance returns to Group
  • Liaison with Internal and External auditors
  • Assist in the implementation of the new ERP system
  • Assist the Financial Controller and Head of Finance on ad hoc project work

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education
  • Professional accounting qualification
  • Significant experience within a similar role
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to timescales
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Management experience
