The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to play a key role in delivering complex engineering solutions across temporary works. The project portfolio includes a significant amount of challenging temporary works / structural engineering design. This is a senior position suited to an engineer who is confident taking ownership of projects, leading design delivery, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be trusted to manage projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects
- Design and oversee complex temporary works schemes
- Develop and review construction sequences and methodologies
- Deliver detailed design across structural engineering, from concept through to construction
- Apply advanced structural engineering principles to develop safe, efficient, and buildable solutions
- Review and sign off design calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Mentor and develop graduate and intermediate engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong background in structural engineering / temporary works design
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
- Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers
- Strong technical knowledge of structural behaviour, materials, and design standards (Eurocodes)
- Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE/IStructE)
- Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-led mindset
