My client is a Leeds-based civil & structural consultancy specialising in temporary works, demolition engineering, and complex cut-and-carve across the UK. We’re hiring a Structural BIM Technician to support the delivery of high-quality, buildable design solutions across both temporary and permanent works projects.
The Role
- Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for temporary and permanent works schemes.
- Typical schemes include façade retention, propping/needling, crane platforms, excavation support, and permanent structural elements.
- Work closely with engineers to develop clear, coordinated design information.
- Assist in the preparation of drawings, models, and technical details in line with project requirements.
- Ensure all outputs comply with company BIM standards and project specifications.
What You’ll Need
Essential
- Proven experience as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environment.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Structures.
- Experience working on temporary works, permanent works, or both.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience in demolition or complex temporary works schemes.
- Familiarity with BIM standards and coordination processes.
- Exposure to additional software such as Tekla Structures.
