We also deliver comprehensive maintenance, systems integration, and product support services.
We are now looking for a Shipping Specialist to take on the following responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for all shipping and logistics activities
- Coordinate the import and export of aircraft and parts in line with company policies and current HMRC/DTI legislation
- Follow the compliance requirements when supporting shipments processes under licence and ITAR
- Apply the correct Customs Procedure Codes (CPC) for import/export shipments
- Prepare and compile shipping documentation for domestic and international movement of materials, cargo, and aircraft
- Liaise with freight agents, couriers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation
- Communicate shipment statuses to internal stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations
- Maintain organised records of shipping documentation for easy access and audit compliance
- Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective shipping options are selected for each requirement
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage delivery timelines and mitigate risk
- Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery, ensuring any issues are resolved swiftly
- Filing / organising shipping documentation to enable easy reference complied AEO standard
