IBA Fiduciary Technician

Our Client Support Services department has an opportunity for an IBA Fiduciary Technician with our Fiduciary Team supporting the LAC region.

This role is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for 2 days, with the other 3 days based in our office in Witham.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Reinsurance professionals across Witham and London

  • Take responsibility for own workload, including where necessary definition of cases and associated issues.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy in relation to more routine aspects, liaising effectively with senior colleagues where guidance or escalation is required.
  • Partner with the Operations Specialists to support with root cause analysis and develop improved process, protocols, and behaviours to improve outcomes in the future.
  • Utilise knowledge of processing of premiums and/or loss transactions and associated cash follow up, plus the application and disbursement of funds due.
  • Liaise effectively with Client Service Support and Guy Carpenter client facing colleagues where necessary to ensure a coordinated approach is taken.
  • Develop and maintain clear working papers supporting investigative work undertaken and/or methodologies used to support conclusions or proposals to senior management such as utilisation of reserves or application of Guy Carpenter credit write back policy and/or processing of complex accounts.
  • Support wider CSS activities where required, including but not limited to quarter review of potential financial exposures, delivery of key performance targets or other significant business objectives.
  • Leave Management Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our US Leave Management team at Marsh.

This role will be based in Louisville and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize case management software to effectively manage end-to-end process of employee leaves; includes, but is not limited to, following the wizard based questions to confirm policy applicability/eligibility and explain job protection rights; initiating required correspondence; liaising with 3rd party vendors for medical information; confirming and documenting FMLA related absences and completing all required tasks as indicated by the case management software work/task list
  • Provide input on existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with creating new SOPs; follows (SOPs) and company policies as well as Local, State and Federal guidelines, for all leave types at all times, to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders including Global Benefits, Employee Relations, Legal, Payroll and 3rd party provider; if necessary, partner with HR Shared Services management to provide guidance to junior leave staff in cases that are complex or require escalation
  • Ensure documentation and maintenance of US Leave Management Standard Operating Procedures via Knowledge Base; ensure execution of day-to-day operational tasks, such as queue management, case/workload evaluation and provide feedback to junior team members and HRSS Operations when issues are identified
  • Provide guidance for development of training, documentation, workflow and reporting for processes
  • Provide on-boarding and training for US Leave Management and Tier 1 in partnership with Shared Services
  • Update and maintain the HR Systems of Record with all information pertaining to an employee’s leave; this includes, but is not limited to, updating the employee’s record to stop/start/reduce pay in compliance with leave policy approval/denial, updating the employee’s attendance record and documenting all activity
  • Utilize data and reporting from case management tools used by US Leave Management to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and/or exceeded; communicate effectively with Tier 1 Customer Service Representative to ensure customer service SLAs are met and/or exceeded

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, HR or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and collaboration with colleagues
  • Proficient skills with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word and Power Point
