We are seeking a talented individual to join our Power and Renewables team at Marsh. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office; additional attendance will be expected during the initial probation period.

Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key insurers whilst negotiating to achieve the best terms and deliver a first class service for clients.
- Act as the reference point for advice and technical expertise to the internal client servicing teams.
- Provide recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure and market conditions including occasional presentations to clients where appropriate.
- Fully document all quotations received and advise the Client Servicing team of all conditions.
- Attend client and insurer meetings in partnership with the client service team.
- Build strong relationships with insurers and seek feedback on Marsh’s service through ongoing dialogue.
- Contribute to rolling risk management strategy with clients and insurers.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understand and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
- Proven experience of commercial insurance within either an Exec or Broker capacity.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to advise and negotiate.
- The ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
- London Market Experience.
- Confident to work on own initiative as well as part of a dynamic, diverse and international fast-paced team.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
