We are seeking a talented individual to join our Real Estate speciality at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich and is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

What can you expect? A fantastic opportunity to join a leading, global Broker within their Real Estate speciality as a Client Advisor, either as your entry point to the industry or to embark on the next step within your career. The Real Estate practice provides commercial real estate advice and broking solutions to property owners and investors predominantly in the UK and Europe. Working with a wide array of clients including FTSE250 companies, banks, pension funds, investment managers, asset managers and across a large spectrum of asset types such as residential, offices, warehousing and retail ensures a big variety in the day-to-day role of being a Client Advisor.

We will rely on you to:

  • Take ownership of pre-renewal administration including setup of internal systems and ensuring adherence with FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of Pre-Renewal Internal Strategy Meeting documents and take relevant action points from the meeting itself.
  • Participate in renewal data collection exercises with clients in readiness for presenting to external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation of the market presentation and display current portfolio values/sums insured accurately.
  • Request Claims Reports from TPA’s, Loss Adjusters and liaise with our internal claims team where required.
  • Own the client onboarding process for new clients and expansion to existing clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of client renewal reports.
  • Prepare and issue renewal documentation including the creation of invoices, evidence of cover documentation and renewal policy documentation in line with internal targets and client expectations.
  • Assist our fiduciary teams with premium collection and the resolution of complex accounts and administration queries.
  • Become comfortable with complex premium calculations following relevant training and guidance.
  • Be actively involved in mid-term adjustment activity, ensuring client data sets are kept up to date at all times.

What you need to have:

  • The ability to manage your workload and prioritise accordingly to different timescales.
  • Ability to develop an awareness of the Client’s business, business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to become competent in all relevant Marsh business systems.
  • Strong communication and people skills to liaise with the various divisions within Marsh to provide Client service solutions.
  • To work within FCA, Marsh Compliance and Marsh specific procedures and guidelines.
  • To strive to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions.
  • Good standard of education.
