We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Public Sector Team. This role can be based in either our Newcastle, Cardiff or London offices. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in Commercial, Corporate, Public Sector, or Private Client insurance—whether in an Account Handler or Client Advisor role, or even within Claims or Underwriting. It’s a great opportunity for those looking to specialize further in the Public Sector.

In this position, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, handling daily tasks such as renewals, mid-term adjustments, and addressing client enquiries to ensure smooth and efficient service.

We will rely on you to:

  • Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk
  • Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Public Sector clients and understand their requirements
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations in consultation with the Client Executives
  • Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals
  • Review and comment on Indemnity and Insurance clauses
  • Utilise Marsh systems to prepare invoices and documentation

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of public sector / corporate / commercial Insurance policies and programs
  • Demonstrable insurance experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
  • A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
