We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in North England and could include our Midlands or North West England offices. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Marsh are the only broker to have a dedicated Major Client team based outside of the London market. This role will be perfect for experienced, ambitious Client Executives to develop a deep understanding of the risks and financial exposures our clients and prospects face. A Marsh Senior Client Executive leads a multi-disciplined client team to deliver all aspects of insurance and risk management support to our clients and prospective clients. The successful candidate will be a team player and work closely with clients to manage their service requirements, insurance needs and insurer relationships.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of large, complex and/or multinational clients.
- Develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the broking and client service team in accordance with client instructions.
- Work with colleagues to identify and win prospective clients or project work.
- Build and maintain multi-level relationships with clients and be the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your clients and Marsh colleagues to consistently deliver first class broking and risk management support.
- You will manage projects, help teammates thrive and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.
- Keep abreast of changing market conditions and contribute to the firm’s body of knowledge within product line through active internal communication.
- Experience in the insurance and risk management industry, from a client facing background from either underwriting or broking.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Dynamic and ambitious with relevant client facing experience.
- Ability and ambition to understand large clients, their risks and exposures.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
- ACII qualified (or equivalent).
