We have an exciting opportunity for a
Managing Consultant to join our Risk and Resilience consulting practice, which forms part of Marsh’s Strategic Risk Consulting team. This role will be based in the
London office .
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Risk and Resilience practice brings together Crisis Management, Resilience and Enterprise Risk consulting expertise.
By uniting these disciplines in one team we help clients to manage risk and prepare for disruptive events coherently.
Our team brings together experience gained from industry, government, the military and crisis communications.
By drawing on our broad experience, we help clients to tackle challenges in new ways.

As an integral part of the world’s largest insurance broker, Risk Consulting offers the opportunity to work with some of the largest multinational companies in the world, as well as both our UK- and internationally-based network of consulting colleagues.
We will rely on you to
- Solve our clients’ resilience challenges by defining the issues, developing options and making practical recommendations.
- Managing consulting projects from project definition to handover.
- Develop bespoke, practical documents to support our client’s resilience ambitions.
These could include crisis frameworks, business continuity plans, cyber response playbooks and materials for table-top exercises.
- Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to develop first class deliverables.
- Gather and analyse information by reviewing documents, interviewing clients and, provide meaningful recommendations that will allow clients to improve their resilience capabilities.
- Prepare concise and impactful reports, presentations and verbal feedback to our clients.
What you need to have
- A working knowledge of crisis management and resilience related industry standards and good practice.
- Familiarity with key deliverables including crisis management frameworks, plans, playbooks, business continuity plans, and a range of training and exercises.
- An understanding of the cyber risk landscape, and the resilience challenges this poses to organisations.
- Confidence presenting to C-Suite stakeholders.
- Experience in a resilience related field. Gained either in a consulting environment or in-house.
- Demonstrable evidence of managing projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A background in research, hypothesis-driven analysis and problem solving.
- An ability to build a rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
