We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Team in Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our London office and is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office at least three days a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Risk Function to deliver the annual Risk Management Plan and provide risk advice to the business.
- Partner with selected business areas and Marsh Specialty Leaders to provide guidance, advice, and challenge on risk matters.
- Lead risk view at first‑line business governance committees and collaborate with Risk Champions and Business Leaders.
- Share insights on key risks facing Marsh in the UK, drawing from meetings with business and external sources.
- Lead RCSA (Risk & Control Self Assessment) meetings and ensure risk registers are updated with quality information on risks, controls and actions.
- Produce high‑quality, targeted risk reports for committees and executives with clear narratives on risks, status and actions.
- Lead strategic projects such as M&A, control enhancements and other opportunities.
- Guide the business on enhancing controls, KRIs and other risk activities.
- Provide training and coaching to first‑line Risk Coordinators/Champions.
- Support the wider Marsh Risk agenda in collaboration with Compliance and colleagues across the UK and globally.
Qualifications:
- Risk management experience including risk and control assessments, incident management, control reviews, thematic reviews, risk appetite and KRI development.
- Experience in insurance/insurance broking, Lloyd’s market, or specialty lines; experience in risk function is a plus.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive risk management competency across the organisation.
- Experience writing high‑quality risk reporting.
