We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy team at Marsh. This role will be based in London and is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.
As an Energy, Power and Renewables Casualty Insurance Broker, you will provide expert casualty insurance advice and tailored international placement solutions for highāprofile energy, power, and renewables clients. You will manage complex, multiālocation accounts, lead tender processes, negotiate policy terms, and drive growth initiatives.
What we expect you to do:
- Assess and advise clients on casualty insurance needs specific to the Energy, Power and Renewables industry, including construction and operational risks.
- Negotiate policy terms and conditions with underwriters to secure optimal coverage and competitive rates.
- Identify gaps in coverage and recommend policy enhancements to protect clients effectively.
- Maintain deep industry knowledge of risks, liabilities, and emerging trends across diverse energy operations and projects.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships with energy companies, power plants, renewable developers, and other stakeholders.
- Lead complex projects, tenders, and marketing strategies, collaborating internally and across Marsh MMC to deliver seamless service.
- Drive innovation and growth initiatives, mentoring junior colleagues and championing Marsh's organisational strategy.
- Ensure accurate client records, promote process improvements, and demonstrate financial acumen with a focus on yield and P&L impact.
- Influence senior leaders and clients as a recognised thought leader within the practice.
What you need to have:
- Energy, Power and Renewables insurance experience.
- Proven success in client management, negotiation, and advisory roles, including managing complex, multiālocation/global clients.
- Strong analytical, problemāsolving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Marketāfacing experience with deep relationships and the ability to conduct effective market negotiations.
- Proficiency with insurance brokerage software and tools, and familiarity with market trends and emerging risks.
