We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate – Public Sector Sales team at Marsh, based in either London or Reading. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least two days a week in the office and one with prospective clients.
The role: Development Executive
Are you an experienced Sales Professional with a background in Insurance or an Insurance Professional looking to move into a Sales role? We are seeking individuals who aspire to be leading contributors in the Corporate – Public Sector Sales team, working with a range of Public Sector clients and who can embrace the opportunity to drive new business across the whole of the UK.

We will count on you to:
- Prospect relationship development and management
- Project management from initial point of prospect contact to transition to client
- Deliver sales and growth with a focus on your dedicated industry sector
- Demonstrate strong team collaboration ability in order to forge proactive working relationships within the business
- Provide insight and thought leadership within your dedicated sector and build profile through regular interaction with key stakeholders
What you need to have:
- Proven experience within Insurance and a good understanding of insurance policies
- Excellent interpersonal skills to present to prospective clients
- Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
- Stakeholder management skills up to and including senior executive level
- Be able to generate leads and follow these up to build a strong pipeline of potential insurance clients
