Mercer is looking for a Communications Consultant to join our employee communications agency, Impact. If you are someone with a curious mind, who is looking for a place to flourish and innovate, this could be the role for you. The Communications Consultant is a client-facing role delivering our services to a portfolio of clients. You will work on a variety of projects, helping clients engage employees with their benefits and supporting HR change activity. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the London office.

We will count on you to:

  • Deliver and support multiple client communications projects simultaneously.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings and workshops to define project scope and objectives.
  • Identify communication requirements for engaging clients’ employees effectively.
  • Create and manage communication strategies, including project plans and milestones.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to open up new opportunities and support account management.

What you need to have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a communications-related role, preferably in consultancy.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A good understanding of copywriting fundamentals, including editing and proofreading.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge and ask difficult questions.
