We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Belfast office and follows a hybrid working model, requiring three days per week in the office.
Building on the continued success of our Commercial Legal Team in Belfast, we invite applications for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our well-regarded and high-performing legal team. This position will provide support to both the London and Belfast Legal teams.
In this position, you will deliver vital administrative support, with a primary responsibility for managing the UK Legal mailbox. Additionally, you will occasionally assist colleagues with a range of administrative duties.
We will rely on you to:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the UK Legal Inbox.
- Review incoming emails and other documents as directed, promptly distributing them to the appropriate recipients within the UK Legal team.
- Escalate matters in line with internal processes when required.
- Maintain correspondence and data files to ensure accurate and reliable recordkeeping.
- Prepare reports and documents that highlight metrics and trends derived from legal inbox data, using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Always maintain strict confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive information.
- Occasionally assist the broader Legal team with internal projects and initiatives.
What you need to have:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook for email management, as well as PowerPoint and Excel for presentation support.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Minimum of one year of experience providing administrative support in a professional environment.
