What Can You Expect
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Valuations Surveyor Apprentice to join our Marsh Advisory team. Based in either Norwich or London, this role offers the chance to develop your knowledge and experience in independent reinstatement valuations and large-scale portfolio assessments across the UK. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals in a market-leading insurance broker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in property valuations/surveying, especially if you are recently qualified, studying toward a related qualification, or have some relevant experience and are eager to learn. You will need a valid driver’s licence, an interest in property and valuation processes, and the flexibility to travel across the UK as required.
Responsibilities
- Undertake independent on-site valuations.
- Assist with valuations of large property portfolios.
- Carry out desktop valuations.
- Assist with mass housing portfolio valuations.
- Produce reports to a professional standard.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 96 UCAS points (or equivalent).
- Strong report-writing skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, even when working under pressure.
- A high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build, manage, and develop relationships.
