We have a fantastic opportunity for a Risk Consultant Apprentice to join our Marsh Advisory team. Based in either Norwich or London, this role offers the chance to develop your knowledge and experience in health and safety consultancy, supporting clients across the UK with practical risk advice and tailored consultancy services. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals in a market-leading insurance broker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in risk consulting, health and safety, or a related field, especially if you are recently qualified, studying toward a relevant qualification, or have some relevant experience and are eager to learn.

You will need a valid driver’s licence, an interest in health and safety and risk management, and the flexibility to travel across the UK as required.

We will count on you to:

  • Support consultants with on-site health and safety assessments and risk reviews
  • Assist with the delivery of health and safety consultancy projects for a range of clients
  • Carry out desktop research and prepare supporting documentation and reports
  • Help identify risk exposures and contribute to practical recommendations for clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients and support stakeholder engagement throughout projects
  • Produce reports to a professional standard

What you need to have:

  • A minimum of 96 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, even when working under pressure
  • A high level of accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build, manage, and develop relationships
