We are seeking a talented individual to join our Power and Renewables team at Marsh. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office, however additional attendance will be expected during the initial probation period.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key insurers while negotiating to achieve the best terms and deliver a first‑class service for clients.
  • Act as the reference point for advice and technical expertise to the internal client servicing teams.
  • Provide recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure and market conditions including occasional presentations to clients where appropriate.
  • Fully document all quotations received and advise the Client Servicing team of all conditions.
  • Attend client and insurer meetings in partnership with the client service team.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers and seek feedback on Marsh’s service through ongoing dialogue.
  • Contribute to rolling risk management strategy with clients and insurers.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understand and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience of commercial insurance within either an Exec or Broker capacity.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence to advise and negotiate.
  • The ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
