We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh’s Systems and Processes Training team. This role will be based in our Norwich office. This is a hybrid position requiring regular presence in the office, with flexibility to support both in-person and remote working arrangements. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract role, featuring a peak rollout period in August with ongoing support through September, and requires availability for travel. This role is ideal for someone passionate about learning and development, experienced in systems or IT training. This fixed-term contract position offers the opportunity to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that prepare employees to succeed in their roles. Responsibilities
- Design effective training programs tailored to the skills needed, incorporating a mix of formal and informal learning activities.
- Develop course materials such as handouts, manuals, and exercises that support learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Deliver training in various settings including classroom, floor-walking, e-learning, and webinars.
- Support and coach learners using learning technologies to build their skills and confidence.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and learning outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of learner development and resource allocation.
- Build peer networks to stay updated on current thinking and system enhancements.
- Assist the business with simple operational questions and tasks as needed.
What you need to have
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT training, with a focus on systems or technology-based training.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and learners.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive working relationships.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
